In 2008 I woke up with severe back pain, It came out of nowhere and eventually kept me from working for four months. During this time I had sought the general practitioner, who prescribed very strong pain medication, but nothing seemed to work and neither did it fix the root of the problem. After eventually seeing a consultant, having tests, x-rays and scans, I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and in addition to that the doctors had also diagnosed a degenerative bone condition at the base of my spine. This was not what I expected to hear at all and the prognosis was no better; I was told I would have to undergo an operation to have pins placed in my spine in order to straighten the curvature, but unfortunately, nothing could be done for the degenerative bone condition; the doctors told me that the damage was so severe, I would eventually end up in a wheelchair within the next 5 years due to the wear and tear

 

Having heard both the diagnosis, and prognosis I was determined that even though the doctors could not help me, God could do something about it. I didn't know how God would do it or when, but I refused to accept the doctors report. I continued on the medication as the pain was unbearable, but I began to pray, decree and declare that I was healed by the stripes that Jesus bore for me on His back and even though challenging times came and the pain grew worse, I did not let go of that promise. In 2009 I held a small prayer meeting at a relatives house; there were only three of us there including myself. It made me think of the words Jesus spoke in Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. We came together, worshiped God in unity and prayed believing that God was in fact the God He said He was. During that time of prayer I felt as though a physical hand reached into my body and moved my organs around! I let out the most outrageous roar and then it happened! Suddenly a loud cracking noise came from my spine and I felt a huge change! My spine had cracked back straight and the pain left my body immediately; I was completely healed! ​

 

I have never let go of that precious moment as it made me even more zealous to be walking in the supernatural and letting others know that healing is real. I have experienced other miraculous healings including the reverse "onset of epilepsy" and arthritis and have since then prayed for other people and witnessed them be healed by the mighty power of God too. This is why The Extended Altar Call was born; to simply create space for people to come together in an atmosphere charged with the holy presence of God and experience His undeniable, supernatural power.
